When renting a property with us, you may need to consider the following costs alongside your regular rent payments:
Before Your Tenancy Begins:
- Holding Deposit: Equivalent to 1 week’s rent.
- Security Deposit: Equivalent to 5 weeks’ rent.
During the Tenancy:
- Late Rent Payment: Interest charged at 3% of the amount owed.
- Tenancy Changes: A charge of £50 for any amendments to the tenancy agreement.
Additional Costs:
- Replacement Keys or Fobs: If you lose a key or fob, you’ll be charged for the cost of the replacement, supported by an invoice.
- Early Termination: Should you request to end your tenancy outside of any break clause, you may be required to cover rent until the tenancy is officially terminated and reimburse the landlord for any associated losses (an invoice will be provided for transparency).
Responsibility for Bills:
Unless stated otherwise in your tenancy agreement, you will be responsible for paying:
- Utilities: Gas, electricity, and water.
- Media Services: Telephone, broadband, TV packages, and TV license.
- Council Tax: As charged by your local authority.
